I've brought my almost perfect year long run of starting a model and not
finishing it to an end. Dragon 1/72 VK.45.02(P)H wrestled together
against its will so that I could
practice painting splinter camouflage for another project. Built pretty
much OOB except for shaving off the pioneer tools to give it more of a
"prototype" feel.

Plastic Soldier 15mm T-34s WIP
A WIP photo of the Plastic Soldier T-34s that are on my workbench. I built them OOB with the multi-part tracks, but if Plastic Soldier included the single part option, as seems to be the case with the Panzer IV, I would have used them to save a few minutes on the build. I included some cast texture on the 85mm turrets with a bit of acrylic impasto medium (I put a dab of contrasting acrylic paint into the medium so that I can see where I've been, as it is translucent when it dries). I also built the 76mm turrets so that they can be mixed and matched for versatility on the gaming table.
I haven't weighted any of my Plastic Soldier models, but I understand that some gamers do to prevent them from floating across the table.

Sturmpanzer Brummbar WIP
I have made some slow progress with the Gasoline conversion of the Sturmpanzer Brummbar around work and study commitments. I am not happy with the dirt streaks on the side of the superstructure and will have a crack at toning them down a bit. Still a little more touching up required with the figure as well.

1/48 Tamiya Kettenkrad with Gas-O-Line PaK 36

Putting together these two little kits while I build up enough enthusiasm to tackle the rest of the etched brass on my Tiger II. I will include one of the excellent Total War Miniatures figures of HG division trop infantry in a small vignette.
